Returns Policy

At Newsphere Solar (Pty) Ltd, we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality solar power products and accessories. However, we understand that there may be instances where a return is necessary. Please read our returns policy carefully to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. All goods must be returned in an un-used, re-saleable condition and must include all manuals, cables, software, and be in the original packaging. We require a receipt or proof of purchase to complete your return.

Timeframe

Returns must be initiated within 28 days from the invoice date. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for returns initiated after this period. Additionally, customers have a 'Right of Retraction' guarantee for 14 working days. If you wish to return a re-saleable functioning product, please contact us within 7 working days of delivery and return the product within 12 working days of receipt of the goods.

Restocking Fee

Returns are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. Please note that customers are responsible for arranging their own return delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 7 days.

Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund yet, please check your bank account and contact your credit card company. It may take some time for the refund to be officially posted. If you have completed these steps and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at info@thepowerstore.co.za.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items are eligible for refunds. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item, please send us an email at sales@thepowerstore.co.za. We will provide you with further instructions on where to deliver the item and send you the necessary return documentation. No product must be returned until an RMA is issued to you.

Shipping

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over R500.00, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee the receipt of your returned item.

Do not ship any product back before:

  1. You have reported the return/exchange by email
  2. You have provided photos of the full installation, surge protection devices, product in question and CoC. 
  3. You have received from us an RMA
  4. The RMA must be attached to the product and the outer packaging

To return your product, our address is the nearest warehouse as advised on the RMA.
